It all started when…

I had fallen in love with a handmade cloth from Mali West Africa, out of which I made lovely coats and jackets. These pieces ended up selling in Nordstrom Department Store. As the popularity of this cloth grew, the large supply being imported, caused a price drop. This drop in the retail price made the fabric too accessible to the general public. My husband, upon seeing my dilemma, suggested that I learn to block print so I could control the content and quantity of my prints.
